How’s the processor temperature?
When I start to render in 3ds max with Vray it slowly gets to 85.
If I start a game like The LAst Remnant the temp is about 75 but after a while the os freezes and show a display error message kernel something and then unfreezes and again freezes and so on. The only solution I know to fixing this is getting of the game and manually putting my ventilators to max. This happens with all of my directx9 games. If you have any suggestions on to fix this better I would be very grateful.
Stock coolers (especially for quad core processors) are not very good, at least not for above-average users that take them to the limit. I suggest you save up some money (~200 KN) and buy a custom cooler. I would suggest this one: http://bit.ly/articfreezer
